LOL.....Just got tired of the Styrofoam panels.

So, I took a couple of days and made these. I used that old dunnage
lumber that was given to me. I had to do quite a bit of re-sawing to
get the dimension lumber I wanted. They turned out pretty good.
I built the casings and the windows. The motor shot craps on my table saw.
Not a happy camper.

Here's a shot of one of my young herd bucks. C3PO a full brother to R2D2.
He got pee'd on by his neighbor. He's about a year old now.

:rotfl: Love the names!

On a whim: I tattooed three bucks one day. EWOK, (sold him), R2D2 and C3PO. I always try to give the boys a "name" instead of a number.

I was feelin' a little "spacey" that day. LOL

Big improvement over the styrofoam! :p

What did you you use as "panes" in the windows?

MSD: 4mil U/V treated poly. Being inside the barn like that, it should last
seven or eight years. Maybe longer....if someone doesn't poke a hole in it.

Nice!!! I'm not a very good carpenter, but perhaps I should try harder and become half as good as you, Grumpy. The panels really add a professional polish.

Thanks for the compliment.
I've been a cabinet and furniture maker nearly all of my life.
Some of the pieces I made thirty or thirty-five years ago are
still being used on a daily basis.

I can still remember the first set of kitchen cabinets I made. Once I was
finished, I took one look at them and then proceeded to cut them up and
burn them.....LOL. They were that bad.

I used to make a very good living woodworking.
Much of the furniture in my home are pieces that I've made through the years.

BTW: I priced a replacement motor for my table saw.....$329.95.
"No way....am I paying that much for a darned motor."

So, I spent part of yesterday morning taking the old one apart.
I found one of the four sets of contact points were sticking.
I worked them free and used an emery board to re-file all four sets.
It took me about three hours to do the job. But, it works like a champ now.
I'm a tightwad. ;) I'd be lost without my table saw.
I bought it used about 26 years ago and it still cuts a good line.
I bought a 10" radial arm saw "new" in the box. That was 40 years ago,
it still runs like a charm.
