I've only been nipped and both mine are sweeties. He gets all manly when she is pregnant, and she just takes a cheap shot once in a while when I am putting her back in the cage. Like here take that! Smarties.

    Struggling With Heavy Losses

    Second opinion please

good point. This morning, day 4, they all seem ok. The one still seems a bit small but doe is feeding so I'm going to let it be since they were all pretty active at 6am. She probably just fed. I should mount a camera.

    Second opinion please

OK thanks. Anyone ever use their furs to line the bucket with? I got plenty of them and didn't put any chemical on them. One on the bottom of them and one on top? It's warm here today.

I like NZ rabbits. wear leather gloves in case you have a biter but ya if they like it take 'em out one by one and spend quality time. the older they get the more they will want you around. Always fun but careful of the biters if any. They are so quick.

    Putting rabbits outside

They will be out soon. I let my doe out to eat greens daily. She kindled 2 days ago. I have a big front entry box and I leave it in the doe's cage all the time until it gets real hot. Whatever works for you!

    New Member, couple questions.

Hello. I'm in the woods and right now is biting gnat and skeeters. They don't bother my rabbits in the hutch that I can tell. Chickens, they will eat the little ones up. Ya that doe, biting is not something I would put up with unless she put out good babies and she is not so her number is up...

Excessive Rabbit Care (Caring too much?)

I have brought rabbits into my basement for coolness in the summer. Only when it gets so fkg humid and around 90. If there is no wind blowing and its humid they were happy to come in for the day then back out at night.

I had to look up Oryctolagus cuniculus. What I read is they are devastating to the eco system.

The evaporated goats milk is pretty pricey. Can I skimp and use powdered goat milk with the rest of the recipe?
