    Sore hocks and structural issues?

I got a nz doe a few months ago. At first she only had a few pink scabs on her feet which I figured would heal by themself since I was keeping her in a solid floor cage, which was a mistake. She was fine for a while after that. She even had a litter but a bit after I weened her litter I saw that...

What color would you call this?

From what I can see rabbit one looks like a lynx (lilac agouti), rabbit two looks like a castor/chestnut(different names for the same color) and rabbit three looks like a tricolor, his orange looks more diluted so he might be a blue tri although he also looks dusty so I could be wrong.

    Question about Charlies

That doesn’t make sense?? A broken enEn and a Charlie EnEn shouldn’t be able to produce solids or have I gotten something wrong? Shouldn’t it be 50% broken and 50% Charlie?

Smutty Black Tort or Blue tortoise?

A black tort would have dark brown on its back and black tipped ears. Your rabbits has light brown with what seems like blue tipped ears so she’s a blue tort. My torts usually get their full coloring at around 2 to 3 months old. Im not sure about correct color placement someone else will have to...

    Am I overreacting?

Can any of you help me with this? At 7 am two of my does started nesting (Kaly and Chilli). It’s 4:00 pm rn and neither of my does have given birth. Kaly stopped nesting around 11:00 am and she hasn’t pulled any fur. Her nest looks like someone put a bunch of grass in a nesting box without...

    Colors? Genetics?

I have been trying to understand this for a while and I haven’t understood yet. What colors are my rabbits and what do they carry? sheep: my most recent guess is that he is a English dutch opal. Father of most of the kits below. chilli: she has a black patch on her face so I think she’s a...

When is the best time to rebreed a doe after babies? (Pet stock)

I like to give my does 2 weeks without kits before I rebreed so I usually wait 8 or 10 weeks after the doe gave birth.
