OK I'll give her the nest before work today.

She's not due until the 22/23 and she's already pulling fur. Should I go ahead and put the nest box in or wait until the 19th as scheduled? This isn't her first rodeo so maybe she just wants to get it over and done with :roll:

I put a fan on him and extra cold water. He seems to be handling the heat a bit better. Still not 100% but a lot better.

I just took out another ice bottle and refilled his bowl with COLD water. He was eating his pellets and his face was dry. His feet are still a little wet from the water bowl. I really will be glad when this heat wave breaks.

I would be putting a nest box in your doe's cages/hutch/colony in 28 days. You should also be expecting the cute, bald and wrinkled forms of popples around the same time.

Shipping out of country can present some problems. Most animals have to under go a quarantine that can be anywhere from 30 day to 6 months. They will need a whole slew of tests from the vet and it will be very expensive. IMHO its not worth it unless its an extremely rare breed.

Thanks Terry, this I can do. I will do that sometime tomorrow since I have to work tonight. We lost one of the kits but I have no idea what happened to it. The entire cage is 1/2 x 1/2 wire and the kit was several inches long. No signs of any part of it anywhere.

can bunnies have asparagus ends? these are the tougher ends that you cut off before cooking the delicious veg. we had some for supper tonight and i didn't want to throw them all away if the buns could have 1 or 2.
