    Malocclusion in Kit

He's not starving, but he certainly has more trouble eating than the others. As these are not pets, I tend to agree with your supper solution. -- Fri Jul 01, 2016 8:28 am -- Yes, the malocclusion is in the bottom incisors. I'll see if I can get a picture of it to upload later in the day...

    RABBITS: BACTERIAL AND MYCOTIC DISEASES

I can't get the link to work.

    Malocclusion in Kit

I've got one kit out a of a little of 8 that has some serious malocclusion problems. I've read about trimming the teeth, but was uncertain about how to go about doing it. The kit is well on his way to hasenpfeffer, but I don't want to cause any unnecessary pain or for the animal to suffer until...

    My setup (with Pictures)

I've recently built some cages, too, with a gutter system like yours. I have a problem with the pellets overshooting the gutters, too. I haven't put up any tin yet, but that's the plan. I used a shallower angle than you did and I still have that problem, even when there is some waste piled up...

Nest Boxes In or Under the Cage?

Thank you, everyone, for all the helpful insight and comments. I'm designing a system right now, and I'll post some pictures when we get it finished.

Nest Boxes In or Under the Cage?

Has anyone ever used nest boxes that go underneath the cage? I am about to start building some wire cages and was wondering which I should use. I have seen some cage designs with wire nesting boxes built into the cage to simulate an underground burrow (I'm assuming that's the reason). I have...

Wire for new cages without long wait

I just received a call from UPS Freight that the order will be here Friday. That would make it two weeks from the time I ordered the wire to the day it's delivered. Not too shabby.

    Happy Birthday Aggie03!

Thank you, everyone! The Star Trek image made me

    Flush Kleen or Comparable System

If you've determined a minimum pitch for the run off boards, I'd love to hear about it. Whoop! Always great to meet another Aggie on here! If you draw a triangle between San Antonio, Austin, and Houston, we're about in the middle. Both grandparents on my wife's side were farmers/ranchers, and...

Wire for new cages without long wait

I considered ordering from Klubertanz, but went with Bass Equipment. I just ordered wire this week. I'll try to remember to update with shipping times, cost per ft, etc. Having placed my order online, I accidentally made a mistake in my order; I ordered 1/2x1x30 for my cage bottoms and 1x2x24...

    Feeling Frustrated

I've just been out with the rabbits. I'm have to hold the does up for the bucks to get their job done. We'll see if it takes :x

    Feeling Frustrated

I've been frustrated with trying to breed ours, too. I put them in the cages together and they have tea instead of taking care of business. I'm starting to think "multiply like rabbits" is a myth.

    Flush Kleen or Comparable System

That's a great reason to start out small and work into the process. I've been thinking about the preconstructed/commercial units, and they all seem to drain too low. I suppose this is so they can be tied into a drain line or sewer connection. However, I would have to lift them up high enough...

    Flush Kleen or Comparable System

Thank you Wamplercathy! I am going to explore the links you sent me to today, and I am looking forward to getting to meet everyone and learn from their experiences. We were given a pet rabbit last year, not sure of his breed (I can post a picture later), and I was impressed with how well the...

    Flush Kleen or Comparable System

My family and I are beginning to raise rabbits for meat and to sell, but mostly for meat. We're looking to get a system in place where we're harvesting meat at fairly frequent intervals; we've got seven kids to feed and we think this will help our family. I'm looking to build something similar...
