I doubt it was a bee sting since this happened in the middle of winter here in Maryland but I will take a look at her this morning when I get over there and check out her mouth and see if there is anything obvious.

I have a Californian doe whose face is very swollen. She seems to be eating and drinking fine is there anything I should be doing? It has been like this for about 3 weeks.

Raccoons can be a chicken raiser's worst problem! I have a friend who baits traps with fish and it seems to be really effective. Maybe you can get him that way? Although it might draw in even more of them. Either way good luck!

So I had a litter of 4 to be processed yesterday and it all went smoothly. I know to look at the different organs to make sure nothing looks bad but I couldn't find any pictures of what a healthy lung looks like. Anybody have some good picture examples of good and bad lungs?
