    Scott's Turf builder grass seed

I agree MaggieJ, but I wasn't totally sure. He was feeling so guilty that I told him I would ask the forum. The doe is still alive, still paralyzed. I told him I don't know if the poison will work it self out. And if it does, what permanent damage has been done. He has been caring for them non...

    Scott's Turf builder grass seed

Bunnies still alive ~ even the doe. He did text me about E.cuniculi and wondered if that could be the problem. The bunnies have lived there for 3 years with no problems before. No new bunnies introduced, ever. I did not notice head tilting when I was there. Doe: complete paralyses, buck not so...

    Scott's Turf builder grass seed

Good Day All, Have a person I sold rabbits to 3 years ago call me ~ rabbits sick. After much talking to find out the problem and a home visit, I think we have a poison problem that has caused gastrointestinal distress. I read the hazard sheet on the grass seed and it looks to be the cause. He...

    Maloccluded Pet

I have a pet buck that roams the yard. He has this problem too. He lets me pick him up and put him on his side and I clip both top and bottom teeth with wire cutters every other week or so.

    Roll Call -- Colony Systems

It's awesome huh?! I walk into the yard hollar'n "bunny bunny bunny" and they all run to the fence with their paws on wires looking at me with love in their eyes (okay, it's because I have their treats)... :) Yikes, I would pull my hair out if I put a buck in with my Lionheads... LOL I am...

    Raw Feeding of a Pack

I feed my dog rabbit too. After processing for family food, I freeze the rest of the rabbit in dog size portions, bones included. So yeah, don't go to the trouble of deboning. He LOVES his "breakfast" lol Picture is of him at 4 months old... he's bigger than his parents, but I think it's the...

Why do my kits keep dying?

I had a lady whose kits kept dying. The last litter was bought to me at 2 days old (with the mama) to find out was wrong. I soon found that the doe was peeing in the nest box and the ammonia was the cause of the kits deaths. I changed out the straw every other day and no more kits died. Hope...

    Two boys

Rabbits need their space :) bucks and does. For that reason, I don't put two into one cage (I have 4 x 4 cages). They can/will hurt or kill. Someone just called me this week saying that one of the brothers killed the other :( My experience with bucks... I have two large bucks living together...
