First of all the conditions are Terrible, but i don't think this is a breeder.. IMO I think they bought ALL these rabbits from an auction or backyard breeder and are hoping to turn a quick profit for Easter bunnies!! just my 2cents!

Well the question is should I?? NO you shouldn't! even if it is not genetic she has a injury and the extra weight of a litter could cause further harm. Personally i might keep one of her doelings with her and retire that girl.:)

We Currently eat it 1 or 2 times a week, Just recently started procesing our own with the help of a friend. I will replace rabbit with all the chicken recipies!!!! I don't think I will ever raise chickens for meat again!!

Personally i think this is a great idea, you seem to have everything covered for the children and the rabbit. I can remember the first litter I ever saw cause someone was willing to take the time to show me and it is something I remember 35+ years later:) And have had rabbits after that most of...

Grumpy You are crazy, BUT Isn't that what brings out the best in us, sometimes it takes someone to go out on a limb and take a chance that changes someones life... Maybe your just the crazy person with a VERY big heart to do just that:) Pray and follow your heart.

Awesome, We just butchered 17 and was a little nervous about eating something I lovingly raised but all in all I was very pround of myself, Of course we had alot of help from a good friend. A nice dish we had barbequed rabbit cooking in crockpot all day:)
