I'll just let her be for a day and see if it improves. I am hoping it is a wasp or bee sting which is very likely. Pink, on the second picture, I don't see anything wrong on the bunny unless the cheek is a little swollen, is that it?

I didn't think about wasps. I saw a wasp nest in the hut, I will have to remove it. I hope it is just that. Great links, thank you Maggie!

I went out to check rabbits a little while ago and my blue doe seems to have a swollen cheek. It isn't huge, but I can tell that it is bigger. Any ideas on what could have caused it? Mesquitos wouldn't cause that would they? Is Echinacea okay to feed to her? Our Echinacea is up and flowering...

None of my does pull fur until right before they kindle. One time my blue doe was pulling fur and the doe right by her who had a 2 week old litter started pulling too. Just watching made her start pulling. I hope all your does have great litters. My does are done kindling for a month, but...

Thanks for the advice. I am pretty sure that it isn't her first litter. Could she have had a single because she had been moved not long before she was bred? Would that make a differance on her fertility?

My Silver Marten doe kindled yesterday and she had one kit. I was hoping I could foster the SM kit onto the new litter of Dutch that were born this morning. There are 5 Dutch babies. How would the SM doe act if I took her baby away? The reason I am wanting to foster is so I can breed the SM...

Very nice looking set up, and rabbits. I also raise Dutch and I was wondering if your grey rabbits are actually tort. I have a doe that looks like them and she is tort, unless it is the lighting in the pictures. Just thought I'd ask. :)

Do they update the books? I know where I can get a cheap copy of a 1991 copy. Will it have changed?
