Inside wire hutches, 2 cages up. No feed change or new treats, no hay change. Not any visiting change. Clean conditions. The rabbits are unrelated. I don't know if the babies were ever fed. Visually fine, but dead. No chewing.

I like to rebreed my lops at four weeks. I wean the original litter at around 7 weeks, and the doe gets a week of rest between each litter. So, pretty much the same as RabbitsOfTheCreek.

I usually only put them in once and if there's less than 2 falloffs I put them in again in the evening or the next day. If the doe is resistant, I try a different buck.

Normally I watch for falloffs. It sounds like you may have seen one...I usually look for at least two, preferably 3-4. You can palpate the rabbit in about a week to check for babies if you're not sure.

I raise harlequins mostly, but also breed a couple sables and mini lops on the side.
