what exactly it is? is it an auction? is it worth driving 3 hours for?
 
Its an auction, not a show :) Thats all i know about it.

Ive offerd you that i can bring some of your rabbit if you dont wnat to make the drive. Not sure if i will be selling anything, ill have to see what i have by then. ANd want to know a little more about pricing before i enter anything.
 
It's great.
The nicer the rabbit the more it goes for. The not so nice go cheaper. I was there last year prices where $5-$100.
I am going will be taking a few. And buy a few.
 
It's also the DR&CBA Memorial day meeting.

I've sold a couple rabbits there before for about $25.00 min. Sometimes rabbits can get up over $100.00. One year when I was there a NZW went for close to $200
 
$100??? what rabbit sells at auction for $100?
our local auction usually sells 5 rabbits for $5 kind of thing
 
It's an auction put on by the Dominion Rabbit and Cavy Breeder's Association. So it's competitive show rabbits being bought by competitive show breeders.

At the ARBA convention one year a rabbit sold for $2000.00 in the 24K gold auction.
