I also found that as I keep them in my house, a foul stench had started to form over the past year or so. I had tried changing bedding various times but to no avail. I read an article on RabbitSpot and found the best rabbit litter for odor control that I've ever used. It's from Kaytee and honestly, the smell seems to have gone within 2 weeks of using this stuff which is great!
Anyway I'm rambling on a bit now, thought I'd post the link to this incase you guys find it as useful as me. Especially for anyone looking for rabbit litters for odor control.

I have found that soft paper bedding on it's own to be TOTALLY useless. Does nothing.
BUT if I mix it with pine bedding... makes a good bedding.
For urine control the very best bedding I have ever used in wood stove pellets. Absolutely the best for urine control.
