Rabbit Lazone
Ingredients:
•1-1/2 tsp chili powder
•1-1/2 tsp onion powder
•1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
•1/2 tsp salt
•1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
•2 lbs deboned rabbit, cut into chunks or slivers whichever you prefer.
•1/4 cup butter, divided
•2 cups heavy cream

Instructions:
1.Combine salt, smoked paprika, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle over rabbit chunks.
2.In large saute pan, melt half of the butter over medium-high heat. Cook the rabbit meat until done, about 8 minutes.
3.Pour the cream and remaining butter into the skillet. Lower heat and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Serve rabbit and sauce over pasta or mashed potatoes, if desired.

I am not very good at deboning rabbits yet so my pieces tend to be pretty small, my daughter's absolutely love this recipe-I have to watch them close because they like to eat it straight out of the pan if I don't. This recipe originally came off pinterest and was meant for chicken but works beautifully with rabbit and is good with pork too. Delicious over Amish egg noodles or any other handmade noodle :)
