Poultry Slaughtering Day

Post Number:#1  Unread postby pfaubush » Thu Jun 17, 2010 8:40 pm

A friend and I bought several cornish x birds this spring and finally butchered them all today. In total, we did 20 birds. I was surprised at just how easy they were in comparison to the older roos we've done on several other occasions. We were truely amazed that instead of 6 or 7, we could do 20.

I'm just glad they're gone. I want the chicken tractor out of here! They eat a ton and they stink 100 times worse than my hens. They sure do come with a lot of meat attached though!!!
