Hi all,
One of the features of the RabbitTalk forum is the ability to attach files to your posts. This will primarily be of use for images, but the possibility of attaching text files, pdfs, audio and video files also exists. For people that haven't used this feature before, it can be a little confusing, so I'm writing a short step by step guide to it here.
1. Upload your image.Below the posting screen you'll see the "Upload attachment" section. It looks like this:
Attachment:
File comment: This image shows the attachments interface.
attachment-interface.png [ 15.38 KiB | Viewed 391 times ]
You can see that I've annotated the image above, follow the numbers.
- Browse to the file to attach.
- Add a comment, description, anything (optional).
- Upload the file with the Add button, then you can place it in your post (with the next step).
2. Position your attachment (optional).After your image uploads, you'll see a new field right below the textarea where you write your post. Click "Place inline" to put the attachment into your post, like this:
Attachment:
File comment: This image shows the "Add inline" button, which allows you to position your attachment within your post.

This button will add a bbcode to your post, it'll look something like this:
Code:
[attachment=1]attachment-interface2.png[/attachment]
Simply cut and paste that code to put it where you'd like the attachment to appear within your post. If you choose to skip this step, any attachments you've uploaded will be appended to the end of your post, like the one below:
Have fun! Post any questions here, or try it yourself.
