Recipe section?

Post Number:#1  Unread postby ladysown » Tue May 25, 2010 8:27 am

I was just wondering if we could make a section just for recipes.

Put it under meat rabbits.

Then we could make a new topic for each new recipe, and people could add their variations to the recipe if they have any.

If I understand correctly, you would like to see a sub-forum for Rabbit Recipes under Meat Rabbits. Not a bad idea at all... Let's see what others think and take it from there. :)

that is exactly what I want Maggie.

I want the ability to post a recipe and then for people to be able to try it and if they "tweaked" it, to be able to post those tweaks. Or even to add what they tried it with.... like bacon wrapped rabbit served with pasta and beans or something - and how that worked out overall. (make sense??)

I would happily put our existing recipes into the folder for you, unless you have an easier way to do it than the cut and paste that I would do.

so what we got was not quite what I envisioned. :)

I so wanted to have a new topic -- this recipe, with room for comments for THAT recipe only. and be able to do that with each recipe we get submitted. makes it easier to find what a person is looking for without having to scroll through different posts - all under a generic heading of recipes. though the sticky is nice, just not as easily accessible as I would like.

I think it is an excellent idea, Ladysown... but I both MidnightCoder and I are swamped at the moment... Can you wait until next week? Nudge me then if it isn't up by, say, Wednesday. 'K?

I think that's a great idea... so each recipe would have its own thread, and comments and tweaks on that recipe would be in that thread. Awesome idea!
