Hi from Michigan's Thumb
I'm new on this board and glad to find it. (:
I raise & show English Spots. I have them in black, chocolate, blue & lilac.
Started out as housing our granddaughter's 4H project but kept them when she had to give them up due to school demands. She's now at U of M in Ann Arbor.
I love the Spot's running type & attitudes.
Hope to meet some of you at shows. I'm usually in the Cavy area as I also show cavies.
Cath

Welcome to RabitTalk, Cath!
English Spots look like great rabbits. I'll bet they would be great for agility training too.

Re: Hi from Michigan's Thumb
Welcome! I'm from a little farther south of you, down near Howell. I've got Havanas and Checkereds.
I love the Spots! Definitely a breed I'd consider if I had the room!

Re: Hi from Michigan's Thumb
Thanks for the warm welcome! (: I do love the look of the Spots. They are supposed to do well in Agility. I've never tried that nor seen it, but sell many of my pet stock for it. (: I'm glad people do agility with rabbits as I think rabbits must get bored just being caged. I like to watch my Spots lope down the show table boards. My hubby has promised to build me an area like that to exercise them but so far hasn't had time.

Re: Hi from Michigan's Thumb
Many rabbits, if started young, take quite kindly to harness and leash training. I've used a cat harness for them... usually about the right size. It lets you get them out on a lawn without worrying they will be hard to catch later.

Who has bought agility rabbits from you? This is something I've considered doing with my Checkereds, if you have information about it I'd love to know more.
