Well...Mama-san and Peter spent the entire day together. She's been snuggling up against the side of her cage letting him sniff her for days now....so....I managed to hang on to her long enough to get her into his cage. (my GOD she's strong) I fully expected a wonderful time for Peter.
Poor Peter. Mama goes in, and lays down. HARD. Peter tried...BOY did he try. Then he just lay down next to her panting. He started grooming her a bit, and then kind of left her alone. I finished bunny chores and just left them alone.
Later I went up to make sure she hadn't killed him, and there they were, over on the OTHER side, laying down. I left the room, but as I was shutting the door heard that little whumpwhumpwhumpwhump eeeeeEEEEEE THUD.
So...I figure in a month we'll have another batch of critters.
