1. if you are butchering your own rabbits and see lots of fat....cut down on the amount of pellets fed. Feed more hay.

2. if you see problems in the rabbits...problem solve as to what may have caused the problem and fix it if you can.

3. if butchering other people's rabbits, be courteous and let them know what you think might be issues so that if there is a problem, it can be fixed OR you can problem solve together what might have caused the problem in the first place. for instance I recently butchered a very fat doe from another breeder. She was culled for failure to breed. I mentioned the amount of fat and it was like "OH!!! I'll start feeding my dry does less, see if that helps!".

4. if you don't know something, ask someone who might know the answer! the only stupid question is the one not asked.
