Difference in grasses?
I'm trying to get better about identifying grasses in my pastures. I know here in ohio it's mostly cool season grasses. I'm looking at getting some seed to incorporate to my pastures and wondering if there was anything people might know about them. Or if rabbits have shown a preference in grasses? These are all warm season grasses I'm looking at as options. Leaning toward both bluestems and seeing how they do.

One way to choose might be to see if any of those species are native to your area.

That has more information about grasses and other forage feeds than anywhere else I've found so far.

Yes I use that site alot. They don't have many grasses listed though, and none of these grasses I was looking at. I have some info on them as far as their growth and grazing quality overall for livestock.
