Out of sable chinchilla buck and blue doe. He carries chocolate and she could carry chocolate. Dunno if he carries dilute. I'm mostly curious about the one in the middle that has an orangish tinge at the moment. Anybody know what it could be?

Six Guns this is Ghost and Freyja's litter!

The one in the middle - looks like an orange ; ) It's also possible for a chocolate tortoise to look that light as a baby.

Ooh. Hadn't even considered chocolate tort.. gonna go look at their pedigrees again...

__________ Fri Jul 12, 2019 12:25 am __________

Well now I really do have to wait. Found a website with SOP descriptors and some pictures of fawn/red in Angora and also chocolate tort in Angora...

Left to right... Chocolate tort, fawn, then red. These are satins.

Bottom left chocolate tort, upper is fawn, bottom right is red. Ugh.

Once they get a bit more fur it should be easier to tell. Chocolate torts will have color inside ear (although light) while fawns and creams will have white inside their ears.

Looking at their pedigrees and his known progeny, tort is possible but I still don't see any other color on the points of the orangeish one so I think it's fawn or cream? Red kits are much darker in the pictures I've seen.

Now I am waiting to see if the light broken is blue or blue chin...

This baby is too cuuuuute, l'll say that much.

__________ Wed Jul 24, 2019 6:33 pm __________

Ok. Kit has no darkness to nose, tail, or feet. But it does have some color on his ears. The very tips on the outside of the ear are greyish/brownish. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

If the ears/belly are white, then it'd be a fawn but they don't look that white in the pictures so it's most likely a tort of some sort. Choc or lilac, depending on what show up later.

This is just from looking at the pictures, though, I didn't chart the genetics. If it is a lilac tort, then both parents would not only carry chocolate, but dilute as well.

Three weeks old I've finally got enough pictures of them sitting still

The orange/fawn/tort kit has white around eyes and white tummy but ears are tipped with the faintest color. I'll get a better picture of him if these aren't good enough.

Now I've never had agouti genes before and I just don't know what the two non-black brokens are.

Looks likev2 broken black, fawn, broken black tort, chocolate, Siamese sable

You'd expect chestnuts from sable chin X blue and you didn't get any. So I think the blacks and chocolate might be gold or silver tip steel. Watch for ticking as they mature

Can you post a picture of parents ?

Yup! I'll do one better and show you guys their pedigrees too...

I had harle and tort Hollands before I sold them all. These two ruffians are my only buns right now and she was naughty and got out of her pen outside into his pen when they were out for exercise. I'll say he got his exercise in... :D
