My local Southern States store will close next week. Bought 3 bags of 50 pound pellets and a bale of hay today.

I don't like to see that,
-- one of my favorite places to buy lots of things...
I see a lot of businesses struggling ,
and more closing all the time...
Sears, was a "ghost town" last time I looked for tools there..
they had nothing except a few "very cheap" imports, and lots of shelves were empty......
In agriculture, ...the economy is not very strong right now,
a lot of U.S. "farmers" are in trouble .

They closed the Sears here! Their prices were climbing every time I went in. It use to be a very good store with lots of deals. You could find about anything you needed but...Welcome to online shopping. :x

Funny thing is online shopping is very similar to shopping with the Sears catalog.

Ya know, funny thing is they said catalog shopping ( Montgomery Wards, Sears etc.in the 60's) would kill the local stores. They were the predecessors of big box stores that meant doom to the little guy. Kind of like the net is now. Best Buy, Kmart, Ace Hardware, even Wally Worlds prices are climbing. Who's next.
