ok i live in N.C. sorta south near S.C. no snow but some times we get ice i have 2 does that get along great will they be alright without hay or straw - they are on pellets and are fed TIMOTHY HAY DAILY -

rabbits need to be protected from the wind and rain, and Rabbits need to stay dry...-- if they are protected..- then mild freezing temperatures will not be a problem
Michael is right--rabbits mainly need protection from wind and wet. If you get a really bitter spell and you get worried, you could give them a closed cardboard carton with a doorway cut into it. If it's big enough for the two of them, it will be quite cozy. Rabbits love cartons, but it is a temporary measure; they usually chew it up and may also pee or poop in it. Depends on the rabbits.
