We pick up three Angora rabbits yesterday knowing that we need to clean up their coats.

We started cleaning up the worse effect one today, a white doe and found maggots inside both hind legs and tail. We used a hairdryer to draw out many maggots could and cut off and cleaned what coat we could.

She seems much happier now, eating, drinking and pooping.

Any suggestions what else we can do for her.

keep her clean and dry .. If problem persists,... ivermectin, or if infection results, antibiotics [always given with a probiotic] If you need to clean her further, - use a mild soap [only on the dirty area] rinse the soap out very well, use a hairdryer to dry the area -be sure to take your time drying the rabbit, use low heat setting, with your hand near the drying area to be sure the heat is not enough to burn the rabbit..

Thanks

She is much better. We clipped a bit more coat. Use the hair dryer on low to see if we could find any more, but didn’t find any.

She seems happier.
