So our cuties are growing up and they are so so sooo cute! Super happy with this litter! Was so sick of 100% chestnuts hahaha litter of 3, all does..

she is definitely a chinchilla (flash on and off)

And this one i still am unsure of? Opal otter? And it sucks, its a doe! Was hoping she was gonna be a he!!!! But wowwwwie is her so so purdy!!!

Color help now that shes a little bigger and has more fur would be great :)
 
Googled some pics and by golly i think you nailed it :)

But what about the white trim.. does that make her an otter as well?

Ok just googled it. I guess agouti cant be an otter lol so weird cuz it looks otter to me.. lol

Agoutis and otters both have lighter undersides and inner ears, but what makes agouti rabbits unique compared to otters is the hair shafts themselves have multiple bands of color (even on the belly). Otters for the most part shouldn't have distinct bands of color (although the dark fur may be somewhat lighter towards the skin).

So yes, they'll both look like they have "white trim", but when you blow into their coats it's very clearly different. Hopefully that explanation helps a little. :)
