I need the hive mind!

I have a kit who I was sure was a Blue chin at birth, now I can’t tell if she’s really a lilac chin or just a really light squirrel. Thoughts? She’s the bigger of the two. The smaller is a squirrel from a second litter that is closely related to the big girl. I was hoping for chocolate chin with these litters but with the gene linking there was only like a 3% chance of choc or lilac, so I’m skeptical.

Second, notice how tan she is?? Shouldn’t be there, she is confirmed chin. Both her parents are chin. Nearly all of my chin kits do this and then clean up in their jr coat at eight weeks. No Sable in the line. Any ideas as to why? Does this have anything to do with the mysterious medium chin gene that I keep hearing about but can’t find ANY info on?

TIA
