My first rabbit of my own raising was a grey mutt of some sort.

what makes me remember him is the oft told story of how we were having bunny races (me and my sisters) and I accidentally somehow managed to pull his tail off. He was a very nice bunny and an excellent racing rabbit.

But somehow I pulled his tail off and it's been a family laugh ever since because I was SO very very mortified!

Oh no! Poor bunny and poor you! I'm just picturing the powder puff tail in your hand and your howls of dismay. :cry_baby:

I wonder how it could pull off so easily.
I guess I won't be pulling on any of my rabbits tails :D I wouldn't anyway

Poor bunny, good thing it didn't hurt him much.
So did your bunny usually win the races?

His tail could have been dead and a little tension made it snap off. It made a funny image in my head.

I don't remember my first rabbits too well (we got a pair when I was really little) from what I'm told they weren't all that pet like anyways.

My first rabbit I do remember was the one that started all this crazy rabbit madness.
