A blue-eyed kit! Did not expect that. Mother is broken black. Father is chocolate. They have had litters together before, but never a kit with blue eyes.

Lilac
I do believe that it's a dilute brown

Lilacs are silver looking so that is definitely a chocolate. Blue, lilac, black http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/ ... CN0318.jpg Sorry no chocolates to compare that litter but they are born pretty the same as their adult color.

You can get blue or grey eyed chocolates without the vienna/bew gene. It's not that uncommon and is a fault in mini rex. I wonder if one of them might be carrying dilute (lilac or blue) to cause it.

That's just a Blue Grey eye. It is common when they carry dilute and it almost always goes away.
