I arrived yesterday as well. Took me a few hours to get all the rabbits settled and meet up with some buyers and sellers. Very excited to be at Convention this year hope to do well and have fun.

oh man, that looks like heaven ;w; so many bunnies of every breed imaginable. i hope one day i'll at least get to go spectate at a convention! they just gotta get closer to me haha

Today I was doing Breed ID and judging for the royalty contest. Breed ID was pretty easy (cavies were the hardest).
In judging I judged Broken American Fuzzy Lops, Magpie Harlequins, White Beverens, and Broken Mini Satins. To me it was very clear what order the American Fuzzy Lops should go in.
Harlequins were a little harder, but thanks to SarniaTricia temping me with her Harlequins I have been doing research on them
I raise Beverens so I was very comfortable with them, done in 4 minutes :p
And Mini Satins! I now know why they are sometimes called "Mini Satans"! And I have scratches on my arms (I was wearing long sleeves) and a bite on the Mini Satin page in my SOP to prove it :x

That particular rabbit took great pains to let you know exactly what they thought of your so-called "standards", hrm?

Lol! I tried to explain to him that he will always be judged by those standards, and he nearly hopped off the table!

Good luck! I hope you get called for the interview phase! It can be so nervewracking lol. I used to be really into royalty, never made it into the top, though!

They're doing a live feed of the commercial judging over on walton webcasting on facebook! It's pretty cool, I wish they'd broadcast all the breed shows, too.

Thank you! I will know this evening if I get an interview or callback for judging :)

Thank you!
Yes, most the judging was today. I wasn't present for the judging, and there is no lables on the cage tags, so I honestly don't know

I am thrilled with all the photos and FB feedback from Indy from my rabbit peoples!!
WISH I had budgeted for Indy this year, but it just wasn't possible.... I will be at next year... I've started my spreadsheets and planning already...!

Ozarkansas, Always glad to help someone someone catch the Harlequin Obsession!!! lol
Roob's Foxy won BOS yesterday! I have her littermate brother that I have bred to one of my does!!! Hoping to have my own FOXY soon!!
Roob's FOXY is the BLACK Magpie

Wow! They are beautiful! I didn't get any lines that clean in the class I judged, so it was a little harder. But that would make sense that people would rather show their best that donate them to the youth contests for the week.

Sorry I had to quote your last post, but for some reason, I can't message you. None of my friends at Convention want to answer their messages, so I'll try here. :x
Are there any Sallanders? They are a type of the Cinnamon breed, just a different color. Also, are there any in any other breeds? Just out of curiosity.

Today for royalty I had my interview and call back for judging. I felt very confident about my interview, so that is good. :D In judging I judged Colored French Angoras, Broken English Lops, Tortoise Dutch, and American Chinchillas. I have to admit I wasn't very certain in witch order the English Lops should go, but I finally got the chance to see what their ears feel like
Here are a few more pictures for y'all :camera3:

I am LOVING this thread. Thank you so much for all the photos and info, guys. We ended up having to stay home. Teenager issues... It must just be amazing to be surrounded by so many rabbits and rabbit people :)
Yes, it has been amazing! So sorry to hear you couldn't make it!
