DE and fermented grains?

Post Number:#1  Unread postby GBov » Wed Aug 30, 2017 7:06 pm

Does anyone know if DE will effect grains as they ferment? I have had to add it to my bags of grain as the meal moths are legion!

I don't know the answer for sure, but I believe DE is an inert substance and therefore should not affect fermentation.

That is what I thought but couldnt find any information on. Thanks! :D

As my cold continues - week 7 and counting - I am just taking it on faith that the grains are fermenting anyway, I certainly cant smell them.

If you're congested, goldenrod and ragweed (yes, ragweed) have been very helpful for me. I make a strong tea and drink as needed. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
