We have our New Zealand cross 4-10 week old grow outs housed in a 8' by 8' ground shelter with unlimited water, bermuda hay and pellet feed. In the last month we have found two rabbits lying on their side, unable to move and completely limp. Their stomachs appeared slightly bloated when we found them. With the first one, we syringe fed him goat milk formula for a few days and he very gradually regained muscle control. He is now thriving, although he is now considerably smaller than his littermates. We found another rabbit this evening in the same condition, and cannot seem to find any information online as to what it could be. If anyone has any experience with this or something similar, please share your expertise.

Vitamin & electrolyte (esp. potassium) deficiencies can cause this. Giving electrolytes (syringing unflavored pedialyte if you dont have sub Q fluids and supplies for that) might help. But don't quote me on that, I'm not a vet.
