Shenanigans

Post Number:#1  Unread postby wamplercathy » Sat Nov 12, 2016 10:54 am

Shenanigans. That sums up the past few months. Our farm was sold out from under us. We were forced to move onto my in-laws land. Where we are not wanted. Our home was dropped in a ditch and totaled. But the person that moved it is refusing to make things right. AND to top it all off WE are being sued by the jerk that damaged our home. He is suing us for his losses. I have no idea how this man can walk with stones that big. I'm just venting. My daughter, Izzy, had to go to a new school. She was not happy with that at all. I haven't been on in awhile with working, the farm and the shenanigans. I have struggled to keep my rabbits even threatened my father-in-law with a rake. Fought tooth and nail to have a section of his huge barn. Battled my husband over them. We still have them and they still bring Izzy and I joy and fun. She decided to go into 4H and has a beautiful little guy that she is working with. Once it is all said and done even my hubby has seen that the rabbits are needed. It has been the one thing, despite the changes, has been steady. He sees they make our daughter happy. Also he has fallen in love with rabbit jerky. Our rabbitry has taken a huge financial hit, sales are down and our deep freeze is full. What does the future hold for us? God knows but we're ready. Just wanted to share.

:encourage: Wow! Keep a stiff upper lip Cathy. Things have to get better don't they?

Get a lawyer and sue his insurance company for damages, loss of use and pain & suffering. What a jerk /$@&^*. At least you can sleep at night.

I'm sorry you've been having such a rough time this past while, Cathy. Troubles seem to bunch up like that and I've never been able to understand it.

Hang in there! Things will get better. (((HUGS)))

Sounds like you got hit with a big ole bunch of "life happens". Sorry you are going through it.

You know all the platitudes, so I will just add my best wishes that things turn around soon.

Cathy
I am sorry you had to go through this! ((Hugs))

Your positive attitude and perseverance will make a lasting impression on your daughter!
You have taught her to "hold on", "never compromise on something you believe in", "sometimes people are jerks", "life happens", "love will hold it all together if you believe strongly enough"
Good for you!
Things will get better.

Thank you everyone. Live gets tough but it only makes us stronger. Izzy is starting to enjoy her new school. Less drama then her old one. :x Lol
