In this case, it was a handful of pellets. Works wonders.

Btw, the 4 checkered reds are already sold, started a thread about that :p

But I have 3-4 times more pictures than are usable, full of blurry, turning back, or just disappearing rabbits, thank god we don't use film to take pictures anymore, that would be real expensive :D

Just keep a spare SD-card handy (or turn down the quality) and your camera battery topped off, be patient - and fast

Ok, sorry, this is off topic, but that is the picture that I use to advertise my old car on our equivalent of craiglist.

Zass - I drool over your pics every.single.time!

Fast shutter speed on a camera makes a HUGE difference. I have an Olympus Pen that I splurged on several years ago. It's getting a little sluggish, but still much more responsive than a point and shoot. I have taken pics of my kids that people thought were taken in a studio. It's a nice happy medium for quality pics without the huge price tag of a DSLR.

The white ones need a home for someone in the northeast USA who wants a house bunny. They're mostly good tempered, and will calm further once fixed. Baby bun names are Sugar (mostly white with black eyeliner and a thin streak down the back of brown), Creampuff (mostly white with tan eyeliner and nose marking, and a thick brown streak down the back), and Honeybun (mostly brown with a white half-neck collar and black flecking around the rump. Honeybun has a home and will be going sometime this week. My babies are all grown up...

@SarniaTricia, those are some spectacularly colored kits! Looks like someone drizzled chocolate right over the one :p

Thanks!
I did loose the centre one to the heat (the chocolate).... But she is bread again to the same buck, so I have my fingers crossed that the late summer will not be as hot and I get to keep them all this time...lol

Oh.... I like this thread!

OK, I need a magpie breeder to move down here to NC! I think I would be willing to go all out for them in my herd, I just :in_love: them! *swoon*

I got by Doe from a breeder in Michigan and the buck was picked up in Ohio at the ARBA mini Rex convention in early summer.... I am headed to Myrtle Beach in October, but I'm flying so I can't bring you any. ;) ;) Sorry :(
I currently have 4 at 4 weeks old and the doe is due again 15Sept!

But maybe a road trip to a ARBA convention in your area will yield a bun or two for you??

A couple of pictures out of our current litter of 6 Mini Lops. Anticipating another litter or two in the next week or so.

These cuties aren't brand new but they sure are cute and sweet! Mom has also really came around since this second litter, much nicer of a doe
Here's day 1 not long after I found out I must've miswrote when I bred momma because 28 days wasn't for another almost week.

As soon as the youtube video uploads I'll post a link of it in a colour question about a little boy I have.

This is my latest Holland litter... a complete surprise! This doe has only ever produced Orange or Tort babies.. nothing broken. I bred her to my broken blue tort buck and was surprised with LOTS of colour! So pumped! :bunnyhop:

Cream Spinach just had her second litter. All 10 in the box. :p I brought the nest inside. It seems every time I leave them out side I wind up loosing a few due to being out in the cold.

i had a surprise rex/harlequin cross litter this morning that i wasn't expecting! long story short, the buck i bred her to had failed 5+ times to impregnate a doe so i turned him into chowder...and she's nowhere near her projected due date! fortunately i found her in the middle of kindling and managed to throw a nest together for her and saved all eight kits. three rew, two blue, and three brokens. hopefully some of them will be harlequined. i will likely hold back a son to breed back to her for magpie rexes.
