I have a pretty booted red New Zealand buck.
I haven't used him much for breeding. (I lost the doe I was going to breed him to this summer) So he usually just chills all content in his cage; coming to the front for pets and scratches. He gets fed the same ration of feed all the bucks get.

I decided that he doesn't work with my program any more. I am working on switching to Harlequins. (I have mixed meat rabbits)

So, I pull him out of the cage to give him one more shot with my SR meat doe... He tried, he really did... but no fall off.... she just wasn't interested.

I brought him to the show to see if I could sell him. (he has a great attitude.) As he hardly fits in the carrier, I placed him on the carpet on top of the carrier and he hung out there all day. After talking to some people about him ... he is FAT... big chunky fellow...

He is now on half rations with hay.
Pour boy wants to be a breeder, but so obviously is a better eater.
