I was wondering what everyone uses to clean their metal cages ? I'm just getting started with a 3 hole stack and want to keep the bottom nice and clean.

White vinegar and water :) that is all I use. Ammonia is too strong on me but people use that a lot too. Absolutely no bleach, it will rust your cages to dust.
 
I also use white vinegar in water. I spray it from a spray bottle, let it sit for a bit and then rinse it off. I have only used ammonia after I had a virus going around with guinea pigs.
 
Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll mix me up a batch to have on hand. Maybe I should use this to clean my floor in the shed as well.
