Absolutely the best solution I've found.
I also have a sawsall - never thought to use it on wire.
I like the grinder because I can use it with one hand
and hold the wire with the other.
I work in a commercial woodworking shop, and we often have metal parts incorporated into a project. Often, we simply put a metal cutting blade into a bandsaw and cut as if it were wood. For those who happen to own a bandsaw, I'd suggest trying it. All it would really require is some kind of extension table for support of the material.
