frozen pelts

I have 100+ angora pelts in my freezer. Can I take them out and salt them now? I can store them dry, if it's worth the trouble. But they can no longer stay in the freezer. Will salting them now work without compromising the fur? They were frozen within a 2 hours after removal.

Yes, so long as they were handled and frozen well they should be fine.

Thanks Zass. So, just salt them and let them drain on a board until dry.... stack and store?

Store somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight.
