I have a bun with matts on the bottom of his feet. I heard some where that fur on rabbits feet don't grow back... is that totally off? Just wanted to check before i cut the matts out.

Some matting is normal and helps cushion the feet but if they are caked in poop or soggy they should be CAREFULLY trimmed

The fur will grow back as long as there is no scar tissue from sore hocks. Without their protective fur covering you should put the rabbit in a solid bottom cage until the fur grows back to prevent sore hocks from developing

Thanks! :) My rabbits are always on solid bottom hutches. :) They are all sort of "litter trained" going in the wire at the corners that drops into trays below, or in a litter box.
