Warm spring weather brings new life of all kinds- tender new plants, baby animals, and PARASITES.

Food grade Diatomaceous Earth is a must have for anyone with pets or gardens that shuns the use of chemicals and pesticides.

It is a safe and effective treatment not only for any garden pest with an exoskeleton, but will also kill fleas, ticks, fur mites, and scabies.

On the microscopic level, Diatomaceous Earth is very sharp. It kills pests by scratching the waxy coating on their exoskeleton, which causes them to dehydrate and die within a short period of time.

A very light application to the fur of your rabbit or other pets is all that is needed to kill any parasite that comes in contact with it.

In the few cases of fur mites that I have had in my rabbitry, one application of approximately 1/4 teaspoon was all that was needed to rid the affected rabbit of fur mites once and for all.

Last year one of our dogs was suddenly covered with hundreds of baby ticks crawling on his fur but not yet attached and sucking his blood. He was sprinkled liberally with D.E. (and was very much affronted by it!) but within about ten minutes all of the ticks had fallen off!

Critterz Chewzit is proud to now offer Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth as part of our product line.

Pictured below is approximately 3/4 cup of Diatomaceous Earth packaged in a durable plastic box. $2.50 plus shipping.

Larger quantities will be available soon for those wishing to use D.E. for in home flea control or as part of garden pest management.

***Pool Grade Diatomaceous Earth is TOXIC and should never be used in the garden or on animals!!!***
