Got my first litter of satins today!! :mbounce:


I'm so excited!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
Finally some babies with color!!!!!!! :cheer1: :cheer1: :cheer1: :fireworks1:
 
These are my first Satin babies. They were born yesterday. Shimmer had 8.


This is my second litter of Satin babies. They were born this morning. First time mother, Shine, had 10.
 
Wow! Nice sized litters! :p

Satins are voracious, so make sure you keep their feeders full. I also supplement with about 1/3rd cup of a grain mix about every other day.

Current ratios of mix are:

3 1/2 lbs. oats
3 1/2 lbs. barley
1lb wild bird seed
1lb flax seed
1lb Calf Manna (This is a recent addition. Contains corn, which can sometimes have mycotoxins that are lethal to rabbits.)
 
Speaking of which, isn't it time for an update and new pictures? Those kits are a month old now! :gettowork:
