does anyone here breed purebred californian rabbits?

I am planning on breeding either Californian or champagne d'argent rabbits in the future. I like most of the commercial rabbit breeds. I have a Californian/champagne d'argent cross buck right now. wish he was a purebred not a crossbreed rabbit. but he's a good buck.

I have a pair of Californians, my doe is set to have a litter today. I had another doe, but she fire at the beginning of winter. Shortly I will be adding another doe, possibly two.

OneAcreFarm and Beekeeper10 both breed Californians. I have a buck from one and does from the other, so I do too. :)

Currently expecting litters from both does. :P

Check out your local rabbit clubs too. I know of a few breeders in my area. Cals are one of my favourite nonRex breeds

If you're in Mission, the closest club I know of close to you is the Vancouver Island Rabbit Breeders Association.Their next show is in June
Rex and American Sables

We raise Californians, and we are in SE Texas. We love them, they are by far our biggest seller. Very good meat rabbits and excellent 4H, FFA and ARBA show rabbits.
