you'll see in the bottom of each entry a little button that says thank post. it's in blue and white in the bottom..right corner (if I have my directionals correct). beside "quote"

Correct. I have seen that 'button'. What i'm curious is... Exactly what it is used for ? It is not a feature that i've come across on any other forum. I do not want to use features incorrectly, so figured i would ask for clarification. Thank You. RR.

RR, when you want to thank somebody for saying something, you go to that post and click "Thank post".
That way the person knows you thank her/him.
I'll click thank post on one of yours and you can see what it looks like.
I hope that made sense.

Right under Farm Girl's post, there is a bar that appeared when she thanked you. There is also one under your post where you thanked her. It's just a nice way of acknowledging a post that you find particularly helpful or timely.
