I would of asked for pictures of potential purchases prior to visiting, especially if it's a long way. Without touching them, you can't always tell everything about them, but a picture can show off obvious undesirable physical traits/ if they are being kept in good shape. I do pay attention to where they pose a rabbit and the background. It usually tells me a lot about the rabbit and their husbandry
 
Peach, thank you for the response and I'm sorry I didn't answer back. This has been a weird month!!!

I got the two rabbits and they are doing just fine, but she sheared them before I went to pick them up.

Now that I've had them for awhile, their fur is growing back out and they are looking pretty normal.

I've had them on my lap grooming them and they just sit so nice and calmly most of the time. Unless they get nosey,LOL!
