Got my portable feed bucket completed yesterday. It easily holds 100 pounds.
BUT...it's a bear getting it to roll over the door jambs in the rabbitry.
I may well search for a pair of pneumatic tires here in the near future.
I took a couple of pics, but the internet connection has been dicey the last two days.
I'll wait...we've got a technician coming out today to locate the bugs.

While feeding and doing chores, I had three does kindle.
They paid no attention to me at all. A second-litter doe had 13.
Another had 11 kits. And the other had 10. Lost only two out of 34 kits.
Not bad, but I expect there will be a couple more that won't survive.
The doe that had 13, kindled several that are exceptionally small.

HAH!! Looks like it worked anyways!! Here's the pics.
I put two stabilizers on the front of the buggy.
They'll bear the weight of a feed sack when I dump it.

Once the feed's been dumped, I can flip them up and out of the way.
Now, all I've got to do is build the cabinet to keep the unopened
sacks of feed in.

Thanks for looking.

just a suggestion but with all those tools maybe you could make some small ramps for the thresholds like they have for handicap accesibility. I've made them quite a bit and its not very hard to do. Then you could just glue them on the floor or fasten them to the floor with an anchor good luck. I like your cart, its got me thinking of something I could make for our own rabbitry.

I just have to say I want grumpy to come live on my farm for a while! lol You have such an amazing brain to be able to figure out all this stuff I wouldn't even think of.

Thanks Dayna,

One of my grandfather's favorite sayings was: "Work smarter. Not harder."
I've tried to live my life by that axiom. Seems the older I get the more
important that old saying is.

I've been tied up all day w/my middle boy's truck. I'm not a real good mechanic. LOL.
I thought his battery died...it's 6 years old...NOPE!!
Even with a new battery....no lights, no horn...no nuthin'!
Luckily, I caught my mechanic at home. He works on the railroad as well.

He swung out by the farm and in 10 minutes figured we need to pull the starter.
The solenoid wasn't transferring power from one side to the other.
Getting ready to "pull" the truck over to his house.
He's got all the tools and a dry garage to work in.

I've got a very critical school board meeting I must attend tonight.
If I can sway a couple of other board members...somebody's gonna lose their job.
I'm fed up with the antics and subterfuge some of our administrators are displaying.
Time for them to go!!
