As to which method works...have no clue. I've never tanned a hide before though I have five hides in the freezer. :)
 
I've got a few rabbit hides in the freezer too, as well as a couple of deer hides. :shock: I want to practice on the rabbit hides before I attempt those.

The first MEN seems to be one of the most popular methods. It's the one I used with good results. I just didn't stick with the breaking process long enough before they dried (got distracted, who me? :yes:), and have some hard spots. I have plenty of pelts in the freezer and need to try again.
