I know they aren't the best & I do have my thoughts on them, I just want to know what others think.

Just to see the size difference, they were mid run, they weren't fighting LOL It's not a good pic but whatever. :)

I really like the Cal buck's head, ears and expression.

Nice promise! They all seem to need a bit more condition though. The young buck especially looks a little pot bellied. The NZW is not bad at all just a little lacking in depth and condition as well. They all are still young yet and are probably in that teenage "gangly" stage (except NZW doe)Who did you get the Sable off of? I know a number breeders on Ont. have some really nice examples!

Thank you Lauren, they are all right out of condition, they are molty and gross atm. x)

I'm not sure who's breeding the sable is they came from people who don't do pedigrees. :(

Aside from the condition, the things I notice is that the Sable seems to be a touch weak in the shoulders, both in width and depth, and the Jr. Cal doe looks extremely chopped in the hind quarters. The NZW could use more rise, but I kind of like the old style meat rabbits that are a little lower and wider than the newer style that seems to focus on the extreme rise.

I think it's a nice set of rabbits, overall. Do they live in the colony all the time, or just get out to exercise? I found that my rabbits required more fat and protein when they lived in a colony to keep good condition. They don't spend as much time eating out of boredom, so you have to cram all the groceries in at once!
