See what we brought home yesterday? He's a Standard Rex buck named Fudge. Can't wait to find a couple of does to breed him with.

How old is he?
He looks promising but I would hope he would improve his rise.
I wish you good luck with him.
Ottersatin.

He's just over 6 months.

Thanks! Not sure whether I can interest my kids in showing, but we'll see. They like to raise rabbits, though.

Nice looking rabbit, Trinity! :)
Thanks! I'm really thrilled to finally have a Rex, and so are my kids. He just kinda fell into our laps. Although it was quite a drive to get him, we were able to combine it with another trip and only had to go about 3 hours out of our way.

The breeder is on the lookout for some does for us (as well as herself). She kept this one out of a litter of seven, thinking this one was a doe. Then the sex-change fairy struck!

ottersatin(or anybody who knows), the "rise" is the angle of his topline from just behind his ears to the top of his rump, right? And a greater rise would mean bigger hind quarters or a longer loin or both?
