He's still out there 
Pays no attention to my trap, and I hadn't seen him in a few days..but this morning..there he was again Just sitting in the backyard munching on apple leaves and dandelions.
I'm going to try another spot, and maybe build one of those "you can go in, but can't go back out" in a BIG fenced area. Then at least he'll be contained and safe from the roaming predators. Although he seems to be doing quite nicely on the loose.
