Four new bags of rabbit feed.

With bugs in it. Lots of little brown bugs!!!! Different lot numbers as well....

Called the store...
if I want I can bag it up and they'll dispose of it. (yeah, like I'm going to rebag four bags of feed and try to bring them back to the store without spilling it all over the van)

OR I can dispose of it myself and they'll reimburse me for my trouble. (this the better option)

ARGH!!!!!

So much for a new type of feed...which the bunnies like to eat (had a bag given to me that they just dove into with gusto). but bug troubles... no thanks...turns me off the feed quite dramatically.

There's a new store in town, think I'll try them. Prices are reasonable...

I really like the GMO free feed from Brian, but lately have found it impossible to get down there (at over an hours drive just to get there, sometimes finding the time to go is difficult).

Ladysown,
did you check the dates on the feed bags at time of purchase?
Feed that is older than three months loses it's nutritional value.
The dealer should reimburse you, but he/she might want to see
the dates on the feed tags. The feed might be GOOD,
it may be that it was outdated when it was sold.

I didn't check the bags, hubby picked them up for me.

oh, I'll be bringing the empty bags in with me, and a handful of the feed to show them.
