I have some amish boys telling me to get in the grower business. I had 10 does in high school. Ive looked at alot of numbers and talked to a couple people and think it can work. Its just a volume business that I should grow into.

Now heres the dilemma, where to sell. called Pel-freez, whom they sell to, but no luck not accepting new growers, may not all of '13.

And they are the only buyer I know of.

I live in Springfield MO area.

Any suggestions? All input welcome.

If the only ready market isn't accepting new sources you're going to have to either sell to one of their suppliers or build a different market or rethink the idea entirely.
 
Yeah selling to one of their suppliers has crossed my mind.
Selling as raw diet has crossed my mind, but it is almost to lean for most people to feed to dogs.

Again just looking for ideas. Thanks you for you comments.
 
rabbit makes a good part of a raw food diet, just can't be the sole source.

NOTE: raw feeders want the cheapest meat possible I find.
